007 DEFENDERS

This week we do a bit of a critique of a modern comic. Even though this show isn’t really about comics, the art form shares many aspects with the world of illustration. We go into aesthetic, composition and color concerns with this garish piece of corporate dreck.

We also spotlight prolific illustrator Jack Davis, who has done work for Playboy, EC Comics, Mad Magazine and Time Magazine among others.

And lastly, help me get to Portland to witness the birth of the next generation of illustrators with my “get to Portland” art sale!

Be sure to stick around for a very important announcement at the end of the episode!
